Cultural Groups Perform for Pasko sa Kapitolyo

In the aim to send the warmest holiday greetings on behalf of the University, the three cultural groups staged two concerts last December 16 and 18 at the Capitol Forecourt.

The Abuhuni Choir, the Abuhuni Band and the Buglasayaw Dance Troupe performed songs and dances – a mix of modern, pop, folk and some Christmas tunes during the two separate concerts which were included in the program of activities for the Province of Negros Oriental’s annual celebration, “Pasko sa Kapitolyo.” Joining the groups during the concert were the members of the Roots Society – the work students of the University, as they performed skits.

This was made possible under the leadership of the new university cultural director, Alexie Dagaerag-Miraflor together with the efforts of the respective trainers of the cultural groups namely: Allan Bana of the Abuhuni Choir, Allan Valencia of the Abuhuni Band and Vic Jun Nocete of the Buglasayaw Dance Troupe.
