Foundation University College of Education (FUCE) joined the whole country in celebrating Nutrition Month through a weeklong series of activities held July 22 to 27.
Themed “Kumain nang Wasto at Maging Aktibo… Push Natin to!,” student mentors organized and took part in various celebrations starting with “Dance for Life Zumba” last July 22 at the FU Green.
This was followed by the Poster-Making Contest last July 23 at the Home Economics Laboratory. The duo from the College of Agriculture composed of Lorenz John C. Castañeda and Micky Jean A. Gigataras won first place. Meanwhile, the team from College of Arts and Sciences – Department of Architecture and Fine Arts (Stephanie Dawn L. Tubaga and Ulap Namnama Miguel) and from the College of Education (Jonnen Ortega and Kerl Espinas) garnered the 2nd and 3rd spot.
Last July 24, the School of Industrial Engineering and Technology bested all the colleges in the Physical Fitness Relay Race, Tug of War and the Physical Fitness Dance Competition.
The Nutrition Month Celebration of the College of Education was encapsulated through a Culmination Program and Awarding Ceremony held July Friday, 26 at the James B. Herring Audio-Visual Room.
