CBA Student Gov’t Launches Attendance App

In order to easily keep track of student attendance during important events, the Foundation University College of Business Administration (CBA) Student Government launched its paperless attendance checking application last July 10 during the college’s Academic Orientation held at the James Herring Audio-Visual Room.

Using the Quick Response (QR) Code, a trademark for a type of matrix or barcode, the said application will serve its purpose in all activities involving CBA students from university down to subject level.

The students are to show their assigned QR codes to the assigned officers from their organizations and have it scanned and immediately, the attendance will be recorded. Organization presidents will submit report within 24 hours after the event.

At Foundation University, technology is utilized in order to make processes easy and also to get rid of trash from the paper used in checking the attendance.
